She Lives in You

He thought it was over, he thought he was dead. He looked over his arm and saw her fall before him. He catches her. Cradles her, like a wounded bird. He said to her, "Why? Why did you that?" She looked up at him, and smiled so peacefully, and said, "You have sacrificed for us so many countless times, isn't it time someone did the same for you?" Her chest opens, the Matrix of Leadership. He can feel his Matrix pulsing rapidly at the sight of hers. "You were my guardian, my family, my teacher, but most of all--" He stares into her deeply. "--You are my friend." She struggles to take the Matrix out, he helps her steady it. It's small at first, but as soon it was out of her chest, it reformatted into a bigger size, the same size as his own. She breathes deeply and whispers, "Until.....all.....are one." Her optics fade to black, and her spark returns to Primus himself. Leaving him. Weeping silently.
He still holding her Matrix, he stares at it intently. Through the naked eye, no one can see it, but she is still alive. He knows what he has to do next.
